Dan and Jamie of Joyful Timber gave a brilliant service from start to finish. They removed 4 large trees of over 60feet and topped a further 6 large trees. They arrived on time, polite, friendly, communication excellent, informed us regularly as work progressed. Worked hard and efficiently, and left the garden clean and tidy. I would highly recommend them, they are extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of tree work and the price was good with no hidden costs. I had other quotes but these guys came out best overall. I most certainly will use them again in the very near future and would strongly suggest you get quote and meet them, you won’t be disappointed.

Daniel and James did an excellent job taking down our huge birch tree. Lovely hard working lads, very professional. Highly recommended. Looking forward to having them back later in the year to carry out more work for us.

Dan was extremely polite, did exactly what he said he was going to do and carried an extremely expert job. The hedge now looks better than it has for many years. I hope that he will come back next year now that he has carried out the difficult bit, and continue to carry out the annual work on the hedge from now on. Other tree surgeons are mediocre by comparison....I have used many over the last 26 years but Dan is by far the best. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. He obviously cares about his trees and the environment as well.

Very pleased with the service I received from Dan and Jamie of Joyful Timber. The job was to remove an old three bar fence of 30mts and erect two bar strong fence of the same length. The team worked hard and efficiently in wet and windy weather and the finished result was perfect. They removed all the old posts, fencing, overgrown brambles, old shrubs and all concrete rubble. The garden was left clean and tidy and looked fabulous I was extremely happy with everything which to my mind is just what you want, excellent service from team Dan and Jamie. I can certainly recommend this team, couldn’t fault them. Thank you Joyful Timber for a first class job.
